Bert Gold
A funny guy

It is December 2005 and I am continuing a divided net presence;  in fact, my web pages are now split into numerous pieces. Facets of my professional life are on at least three work servers, which you can access here:

NCI-FREDERICK LOGO  here:   NCI LOGO   or here:    NIH Office of Science Education

If you just stumbled on this page, you probably haven't even a vague notion of what I am writing about.  But, hopefully you are sufficiently interested that you will continue to explore the life of a guy who has probably missed his true calling, either writing comedy or being an unrepentant lawyer.   But, I am not going to be discussing that on these pages. Instead, I'll tell you what I do with my spare time. You can choose from the following fun categories:

OK, so I admit that I have a dry sense of humor: Growing up I read H.Allen Smith and found him hysterical, but I also enjoyed the humor of Alan King, Woody Allen (especially Bananas), and watching Jack Benny. I was also a big fan of Mad Magazine and 'Cracked'. When I was in Graduate School at Tufts I had a subscription to the 'Journal of Irreproducible Results'. I feel I could have been an outstanding contributor, if they had let me. While I took acting in college and worked on the Jerry Lewis Telethon and produced concerts at my college (losing copious amounts of money because of my pitiful business skills), I found my real talents were outside of show business; although I have often befriended artists and show biz people. You will probably be able to read more about this on my Past Life (Regression) pages, which are decidedly not modeled after Shirley Maclaine, nor the lives I have forgotten, but rather allude to a long and fruitful life well spent so far. Click and take a whirl!

If you find this page silly, or you just want to communicate, feel free to write to me.
